A programme in information technology (IT) called B.Tech in Information Technology focuses on the role of both computer and communication technology. Students are taught about image processing, data communication, networking, data mining, testing, and software design in this engineering course.

B.Tech in Information Technology provides tools for System information, including radio, television, mobile phones, computer network hardware, satellite systems, etc. It takes four years and eight semesters to complete the Information Technology undergraduate B.Tech degree. ICT engineers apply their knowledge in planning, designing, implementing, and deploying IT infrastructures to create information systems that are meant to address social needs. They support great research and instruction as well.

Eligibility

Students who have graduated 12th board examinations from a recognized Board of Education are eligible for applying for this course.
Candidate must have class 12 with 45% marks in aggregate with PCM. The required marks for reserved categories are 40% with PCM to be eligible for admission.
Should have Non Zero Marks in engineering entrance exam for admission through CAP

Admission shall be through Centralized Admission Process (CAP Educational Institution shall admit Candidates through The stages of CAP shall be as stated below, - (a) Display or Publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority. The Information Brochure shall be published on the website of the Competent Authority .The candidate should read the information brochure carefully. (b) The candidate should fill the Online Application Form as per the notified schedule for respective admission.
